Imani Park

Larry McKnight is Imani Park’s resident poet. Larry has been a member of the "Precious Promise Arts Circle" (PPAC) formally known as Grounded Voices for over five years. The group meets monthly at the New Brunswick Public Library to share their poetry, songwriting, short stories and plays. Larry states that, "Writing is a way to express my feelings about life in a positive way." He hopes that by sharing his thoughts and dreams, someone will connect and be reached by what he has written.

The Lord is Beautiful

The Lord is beautiful in all his ways.
What can I say?
He is with me every single day.
Even if I should go astray
Will He ever leave me or go away?
No way!
His words of life and salvation in
The Bible are with me everyday
To them I run, to them I cling,
To them I will stay and obey
